One of the tips I received during my visit with the dental hygienist was to always use a soft bristled brush.  As well, she recommended an electric toothbrush with a small head on it.  The small vibrating, head ensures that you focus on cleaning every tooth individually.  Naturally, I wanted to start taking care of my teeth and since I completely trust my new hygienist, I went out and spent $20 on an electric toothbrush.  So far, I can actually feel the difference and it makes brushing my teeth more fun.

Still looking for more information about buying an electric toothbrush.  Check out the video below.  For the record, I recommend buying one with a rechargeable battery (actually my hygienist recommended this :) ).  I probably could use one with the pressure sensor that is discussed in the video since I have been informed that I brush too hard.
